The Adecco Group in Bulgaria is powered by the brands of Adecco and Modis. Now we expand our operations in Bulgaria with a newly established Operations Center in Sofia and currently we are looking for energetic and self-driven person for the position of PTP Accountant.

Mission:

As P2P accountant you are responsible for the accounts payables process by processing inbound invoices and execute payments. Your job duties include maintaining complete and accurate record-keeping and overall support of accounting and period end close processes. Understanding of record to report practices is preferred. Within this position you report to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices in an accurate and efficient manner according to company policies.
  • Support with processing invoices through both workflow systems and financial applications.
  • Perform matching of invoices to purchase orders on the system.
  • Manage non-purchase order invoice images to appropriate associates for approval.
  • Verify completeness, accuracy, including ensuring proper backup and necessary approvals for AP invoices prior to posting.
  • Check and verify supplier documentation to be compliant for the country legal tax requirements.
  • Perform regular and urgent payment runs, investigate and correct payment rejections and support the Treasury function.
  • Review and approve Employee expense reports per corporate accounting guidelines and local statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with various departments and maintain records for account payables.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and resolve all issues for portfolio.
  • Prioritize invoices and payments according to vendor terms while ensuring timely payments are made and process rush checks as required.
  • Support period end process and reporting.
  • Performing data validations to ensure completeness and accuracy of system interfaces.
  • Liaise with account receivables, account payables and local teams.
  • Build strong relationship with local team and broader Adecco organization to support the business.
  • Participate in related projects (e.g. automating or robotizing activities).
  • Take initiative in optimizing processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience on a similar position.
  • Fluent English.
  • US GAAP Experience.
  • MS Excel, MS Word and Outlook.
  • Microsoft Dynamic (considered as an advantage).
