The Global BI Advisory Director plays a pivotal role in steering the organization's BI capabilities. This role is ultimately accountable for the Business Intelligence Team providing consistent, accurate and efficient reporting and analytics to the Pontoon programs.

The Global BI Advisory Director will define and drive strategic direction of BI services within Pontoon and drive the team to deliver against the strategic vision and plan.

• Strategic Planning: Collaborates with senior leadership to align BI strategies with organizational goals.
• Develops and implements BI roadmaps that cater to evolving business needs.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Acts as the primary liaison between the BI team and internal/external stakeholders. Understands stakeholder requirements and translates them into actionable BI solutions.
• Team Leadership and Management: Oversees and mentors a team of Advisory Specialists/ Leads, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation.
• Data-Driven Insights: Empowers programs and clients by providing strategic insights derived from complex data analyses. Ensures these insights drive informed decision-making across the organization.
• Innovation and Best Practices: Stays abreast of the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence. Implements best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of BI services.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with departments like IT, Sales, and Marketing to integrate BI insights into various business processes.
• Function Transformation: Plays a key role in the transformation of Pontoon’s BI function including creating a strong and unified governance structure, streamlining processes and technology, and creating a strong and consistent workbench of tools for the Reporting Analysts.
• Participates in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in leading BI teams and projects. 10+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to adapt and continuously learn.
• Strong analytical skills and expertise in data analysis tools and methodologies.
• Strong business and financial acumen – in particular with RPO and MSP services.
• Sound Project Management skills to ensure timely delivery, quality control and budget tracking.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strategic thinker with a knack for identifying trends and insights from data sets.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
